My mission is to help my clients work toward financial independence through planning. I want to spend time with clients to determine their goals and objectives, time horizon, risk tolerance, and help them make suitable financial decisions for their future. My mission is to build a long-term relationship with me, their trusted and knowledgeable advisor. I aim to accomplish this through education, training integrity, and outstanding client service.
I have earned a Master’s Degree in Finance and a BBA from Walsh College in Troy, Michigan. I am President and Principal of the Kent Financial Group. I have written several articles for the Detroit News outlining ways for the general public to use economic principles in their daily lives.
When I am not educating my clients by day, I am educating my students by night. One night a week, I teach classes at Wayne State University (The Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Program). Also as an Adjunct Professor, I have taught Micro and Macroeconomics, International Trade, Business Finance and a Philosophy class based on a book called When We are Free. This exposure to business professionals has provided many contacts and clients. Some of which have asked me to provide educational seminars to their employees and customers. Approximately a half dozen times per year I take my chalk board on the road and educate people on topics to include Financial Statement Analysis, Understand Cash Flow, and Making Business Financial Decisions.
